Autism treatment includes therapies such as occupational therapy, speech therapy, ABA therapy, social skills classes and much more. Through our experiences, we have found that there has been limited focus on helping individuals with Autism process life events and overall life experiences such as divorce, death of a loved one, moving, life transitions and beyond.
Research has shown that those impacted by Autism are also very likely to have mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD and other mood or behavioral problems. If your loved one with Autism or you yourself with Autism are experiencing mental health concerns, we want to help you process and cope through your challenges. We understand that having Autism makes it difficult to engage in traditional psychotherapy so we will modify your sessions to help you feel more comfortable while helping you get unstuck and work on solutions to your problems.
In addition, we provide other therapeutic services such as parent training and social skills groups to those impacted by Autism.
